First aid basics and principles and emergency response

To enhance occupational safety, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division of the Science and Technology Parks Department organized a specialized training workshop entitled "Fundamentals and Principles of First Aid and Emergency Response."

The workshop aimed to promote occupational health and safety concepts within the academic community. The lecture was delivered by a specialized trainer from the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, who covered key topics focusing on mechanisms for rapid and effective response to common injuries and emergency situations. The workshop also included practical applications and specialized guidance designed to equip participants with essential skills for immediate response, thereby contributing to minimizing potential complications before the arrival of specialized medical teams.
